About

The Fernald Working Group seeks to:

  • Engage Waltham residents and stakeholders in deliberations about the future of the Fernald Center
  • Inform Waltham residents and stakeholders about the current conditions at the Fernald Center
  • Mobilize the political will to undertake a robust community planning process

The Fernald Working Group (FWG) is a coalition of Waltham organizations that has been active since 2003. FWG members include representatives from the Waltham Land Trust, WATCH, Waltham League of Women Voters, neighbors, and other interested individuals.

The Fernald Working Group is supported by Metro West Collaborative Development, a non-profit community development corporation. Read here for more information about Metro West CD.

FWG meetings are scheduled for 7pm on the fourth Thursday of the month at WATCH (24 Crescent St, Waltham). Please check our Facebook page for meeting specifics and updates.
